Like others, the splash screen just shows and the app does not progress further.

I love HOS. But this app needs major overhaul.

I was happy to see that I could enjoy this station after being away for a long time!! I signed on and was forced to register if I wanted to join, so I did! It says it will only take a few seconds, but it never followed through! I tried twice to no avail! Its too bad ...I would have been a valued listener !

Everything I love about the website, packed into an app. With a library of one hour shows, that span the last 25 years, hearts of space will blow your mind with subtle sophistication. Full of ambient, world fusion, and electronica audio bliss. Those who know, get it. Those who dont, should.

Thanks for all the awesome work you do to bring some of the best music to light... If you can get Eno or Budd to put Ellington in Space, my musical universe will be complete.

UPDATE: I have been corrected: the Sleep Timer function is still available! Great! One more star! This is a nice no-frills app that accesses a great music collection. I say no-frills because its functionality is tied to access on Hearts of Space website in terms of setting up playlists and having more direct access to the music. The app barely lets you control playback of an episode which sometimes can be frustrating, for example when when you have exited the app and upon returning to it you may have to start the episode from the beginning. I wouldve given it five stars if the latest version of the app had the sleep timer as it was there in the earlier version. Unfortunately the iOS sleep timer, when set to stop playing will not stop Hearts of Space from playback - it seems to ignore the system timer. All said, if you are a the hearts of space subscriber you still need to get this app, regardless.

I love this app. I listen to this weeks show all the time. The app is worked great up until a few weeks ago. I think it just needs a bug update. Sometimes when I try to play the free weekly show I get a message saying im trying to access paid services and it takes backing out and trying again two or three times before it works.

I am a Hearts of Space subscriber and the app is lacking in functionality. All I can do is play the weekly show and channels. Theres a playlist option, but I cant figure out how to create a playlist on the main site to use on the mobile app. I cant search for programs or listen to albums on the app. The channels dont update often so its often the same few shows only. Please improve this app to match subscription services!

72 DOLLARS a year is the true price. What a big ripoff.

More updates please, maybe your catalog available on the iPhone too. The 6$ plan is good but I would like to be able to select what Id like to listen to, not randomly chosen by a computer.

One hour of free streaming every week? Thats hard to beat.

Its been nearly a year since the last update. The app crashes on my iPhone 6+ too often. Also, the app does not respond to the earbud pause control. And it would be nice if it showed something on the lock screen when playing.

If you do not have 1 gb free it wont launch. Once I cleaned up apps it works great. Excellent content.

I spent. 2 hours trying to get their website working on windows 7 That failed The iPad app here spins in circles and does nothing too. They have lost my membership. Save your time and move on.

My app also worked great until a few weeks ago. Now every time I open the app, I only get a black screen. Please HOS fix the app. Thanks

Love HOS. Sad to report that the app is weak. Not only is the navigation confusing, but the music streaming is not reliable. Music cuts out pretty often. Ive tried it over WiFi and data. Doesnt happen with other streaming apps. iPhone 6s Plus

Nowhere in there description or under In App Purchases it was a money subscription. Deleting.
